The England international did not emerge for the second-half of the clash at Molineux Stadium, having been replaced by Laia Codina. Eidevall told reporters: "She had a medical situation. Possibly she could have carried on playing but it would have been borderline that she could sustain something much more serious if she had carried on doing that. Hopefully it’s nothing serious."

Arsenal endured a further scare late in the game when Frida Maanum collapsed off the ball and had to be stretchered off, though the north London team shared a positive update about the midfielder's condition. Eidevall's team then went on to win the game in extra time through a Stina Blackstenius goal, which Gunners forward Alessia Russo felt had been "written in the stars".
