ECB Media Release09-May-2002An ECB Pitch Panel was convened following day two of the Frizzell CountyChampionship Division Two fixture between Nottinghamshire and Essex at TrentBridge.Interviews were held with the umpires, captains, coaches and groundsman. Thepanel’s decision was that the pitch should be rated ‘below average’ and therefore no points penalty will be applied.Note:The Pitch Panel was comprised of Phil Sharpe and David Hughes.
